“He is the happiest, be he king or peasant, who finds peace in his home” Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

I came across this beautiful bedspread at Anthropologie; a store that has captured the imaginations of many and created an environment that few wouldn't love to claim as their own. I love home decor.. love it. Most people who know me, know that I could never function in a simple white room. Walls must be adorned and patterns should be mixed with textured pieces to create a space that is warm and inviting. After finding this beautiful, rich, solid bedspread, I was inspired to create a room. Below are items I found that I think would create the perfect calm, relaxing, earthy bedroom. With my best friend in mind, I created a room that would work great for newly weds looking for an easy compromise... I stuck with darker more "bachelor pad" colors (wooden pieces, green, metal), then added splashes of color with patterned pillows and rugs. I hope this inspires you!
