The manner of giving is worth more than the gift. ~Pierre Corneille, Le Menteur

This picture really is worth a thousand words.
Friday morning, Kelly and I went to a fitting for Dressed to Kilt. It was such a beautiful day that we decided to grab lunch at a place where we could sit outside to take complete advantage of the weather (the first gorgeous day in a while). After lunch we walked out to get a cab and one of the photographers runs over with 2 dozen yellow tulips for Kelly... seriously - this picture captures our shock perfectly!
We understand that they wanted to get a good photo and this was probably the perfect tool, but it's the thought that counts. With a big happy Easter (and tears in Kelly's eyes) from the paparazzi we jumped in a cab and couldn't believe how Great our Good Friday turned out!
I get that when you're as big of a star as Britney Spears or Jude Law, you just want to be able to walk out of the house without being surrounded by cameras, but I can't think of many ladies who wouldn't want a dozen flowers on a beautiful day... a great way to put a smile on anyones face!
This weekend's weather didn't disappoint at all. This Easter Sunday (after a morning Mass), Nick and I enjoyed a walk over to Central Park to lay in the amazingly grass and soak up the sun and 70 degree weather. After stuffing our faces with ham (homemade honey glaze, of course), green bean casserole, deviled eggs, and dinner rolls... it's hard to complain about anything other than the weekend coming to an end.
I hope your weekend was packed with friends, sun, and loved ones as much as mine was; I wish you an amazing Monday!

Happy Birthday Erin!!
