It was a first for us both.. Vermont. We jumped on a plane at JFK and took off to Burlington. Our mini suite at the Essex Resort & Spa wasn't so mini after all. The snow came down all night while we were curled up by the fire (er.. fancy heater?). We got up super early the next morning (still dark outside) to make the trek to Smuggler's Notch for a day of snowboarding. A snowy day on the mountain, a beer break, and a fresh waffle cone filled with Ben & Jerry's to finish it off made for a perfect day in Vermont. Jumped in the outdoor hot tub, showered, and had dinner at the resort. Slept in, ordered room service and said goodbye to Vermont!
