Alright where were we.. 2012? This is the year to play catch up with friends. We may talk all the time or always say we need to make calls more regularly.. but either way it doesn't matter. Nothing compares to playing catch up with friends in person. It makes you appreciate the little things, it just makes your soul happy.
First stop was Thomasville, Georgia to see this pregnant lady, we had to see each other one last time before sweet baby John Reese came into this crazy world.
He almost didn't let it happen. We thought he may make his debut a little early to hang with the girls, but in the end he decided it was probably better in Mama's tummy for a little bit longer.. and he wanted his room to finished!
But he only waited a few weeks!
John Reese was born on January 28.
And guys look how quickly babies GROW!

Time to start planning the next event! Actually, way it's way overdue...
We've celebrated Valentines Day and Nick's 25th birthday
And we made a trip to Charleston!
This was on our West Coast bucket list.. Nick had never been and it's one of my favorite towns.
I was able to catch up with sisterfriends
Until I find my camera, these little pictures snapped on my phone will have to do!
We ate at Husk, twice (the menu changes every day in our defense). Obviously devoured Larry's subs. Enjoyed beach time on Sullivan's Island. Spent our last 2 nights at the Francis Marion Hotel and wandered around the city getting lost in an imaginary world were we owned a big house with beautiful gardens that overlooked the water. Sigh.
It was a lovely weekend indeed.
