This weekend was filled with wine, rain drops, real conversations and hot coffee.
With a [dearly missed] friend in town, we braved the rainy day and took off to Half Moon Bay.
We wandered through shops and sampled gross cheese.
We stopped in the feed store to spy on baby chicks and floppy eared bunnies.
The clouds parted and the fog hung low over the hills.
We sat and listened to the waves.. watched crazy men (who had to have been freezing) ride them in.
We discovered a fresh flower market...
Where these gorgeous blooms were on sale for a whopping $6!!
I stocked up on flowers and cinnamon scented pine cones.
I am so thankful for this trip. Although it was rainy and much too short, it was just what I needed. I miss spending days with friends roaming around the city aimlessly. Knowing that it's okay to not have every hour planned out, it's better that way. Texts are easy and phone calls keep you in touch, but little trips remind you just how lucky you are to have good friends!
