If you follow blogs on a regular basis, I'm sure you can relate...
There's one person out there who in your mind, just gets it right. Their style is unique and after reading their
Monday post.. the one that catches you up on their weekend or their Friday post that
wraps up their favorite five things, you feel like you could really be
their best friend. It's kind of a creepy thing, I know. But, I'm sure
you can relate... right?!
Well,
Mattie Tiegreen is a fellow UGA alum and someone who I really believe
just gets it right. Her infectious personality shines through not only on
her blog but her through her designs for Puddleduck Paper Co.
By now I'm sure you know how I feel about hand written notes, BUT - There's something so
special about them.. whether it's the obligatory Thank You or sweet
note to just let someone know you're thinking of them, they're really
hard to beat in the days of emails and text messages. Mattie seems to agree, Puddleduck Paper Co. has some of the most adorable stationary - you'll want to send out all sorts of notes and cards!
So
- it absolutely makes my week to tell you that Mattie agreed to a
little Q&A and help me with my FIRST GIVEAWAY!! Read on and see how
you can win a box of 8 cards from Puddleduck Paper Co.! And Happy July!!
Hello, there! I'm Mattie, the designing force behind Puddleduck Paper Co.
I'm a small-town Georgia native, an addicted coffee drinker, wife to a brilliant man,
and a creative free spirit. What a treat to be here!
A big thank you to Jessie for having me.
Coffee or Tea?
Coffee! 3 times a day. I'm a Kuerig lover but when I'm feeling like an
extra treat, I hit Jittery Joe's, the coffee house on our street.

Dawn or Dusk?
I'd like to lie and say dawn because it was so peaceful and quiet
watering my flowers that one time I got up that early. But, I haven't
seen dawn since. So dusk it is. On the deck with my husband, pups, and
a glass of CabSav.

Ice Cream or Frozen Yogurt?
Frozen Yogurt. Tangy Original with kiwi and granola. Try it!
New York or San Francisco?
San Fran, hands down. It's been my favorite city since I visited for
the first time almost 10 years ago. Reasons? Get ready. The Presidio,
Haight-Ashbury, The Fillmore. The weather, the people, the food. And,
the 45 minute drive to Napa.

Take Out or Dine In?
Dine in, for sure. On the patio at The National, preferably.
Wine or Beer?
Both! Francis Coppola Cabernet Sauvignon and Stella Artois.
Maybe in the same sitting.

Modern Chic or Rustic Vintage?
Both, again. I love the clean lines of modern design, but the textures
and warmth of rustic pieces.

Martha Stewart Living or Lucky Magazine?
Lucky, all the way. It's styled beautifully and the
within reach. But, MSL isn't bad on the eyes.
Glamping or Camping?
Camping. Real camping. No bathrooms, outlets, radio or grills. The resources are
climb-to-the-top-to-find-the-best-view-of-the-stars kind.
Summer or Spring?
Summer. We beat the heat with boat rides, camping trips, rooftop
concerts, cold beer and porch fans. And by the end, it has been just
hot enough to make me excited for fall.
Favorite Picnic Meal:

A typical day in your life:
Hit snooze.
Hit snooze.
Stumble downstairs for coffee #1.
Grab the essentials (laptop + camera) and head to work, which most days is nannying.
Play with the cutest baby on Earth.
Blog a little with coffee #2.
Email a few clients.
Feed baby.
Take a walk with baby.
Email some more.
Make my favorite drive home with (iced) coffee #3.
Settle into my office chair with a cold lemonade and a good playlist.
Make pretty paper.
Make dinner.
Enjoy dinner on the porch.
Blog a little more.
Hit the sofa with my husband and pups to call it a night.

What you love most about life is:
That I know I am right where I am supposed to be.
On days when schedules are crazy, bills are unpaid,
and laundry is dirty, I am still doing what I love most.
"Peace. It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise,
trouble or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and
still be calm in your heart."
