Oh, if it be to choose and call thee mine, love, thou art every day my Valentine! ~Thomas Hood

Oh, Valentines Day... You're such a horrible holiday.
Shouldn't we remind the ones we love just how much we love them every day? Why do we need cupid to run around on February 14th with hallmark cards and boxes of chocolates, making singles feel secluded and pressuring couples to plan expensive dinners and buy flowers and girlfriends don't forget to post everything on facebook to show off just how amazing your boyfriend is!!!!!!!!!!!
But then again, it is another excuse to celebrate and plan a party!

So why not have a tea party?

Mix and match and be sure to go all out with the pink theme, after all it is a silly girly holiday, right?

Like what you see?

A horrible holiday, yes. But it really does make for such a pretty get together!

If you are cold, tea will warm you. If you are too heated, it will cool you. If you are depressed, it will cheer you. If you are excited, it will calm you. ~Gladstone, 1865

Drinking tea and preparing to get a little more personal with you, because life isn't always as pretty as the pictures.

But, I do think this picture is so sweet & pretty! :) xo

Drink your tea slowly and reverently, as if it is the axis on which the world earth revolves - slowly, evenly, without rushing toward the future. ~Thich Nat Hahn

I love Fall.
This week has been rainy and in the 60s. As I've mentioned before, rainy days are my favorite tea days and I've fallen for another that quickly turned into a favorite.

Come on Fall... I'm waiting for you! I can't wait to break out my sweaters and boots and get cozy with a nice cup of tea!!

Strange how a teapot can represent at the same time the comforts of solitude and the pleasures of company. ~Author Unknown

It's a rainy day in the city and a perfect morning for tea.
Have I told you how much I love this site?
