Oh, if it be to choose and call thee mine, love, thou art every day my Valentine! ~Thomas Hood

Oh, Valentines Day... You're such a horrible holiday.
Shouldn't we remind the ones we love just how much we love them every day? Why do we need cupid to run around on February 14th with hallmark cards and boxes of chocolates, making singles feel secluded and pressuring couples to plan expensive dinners and buy flowers and girlfriends don't forget to post everything on facebook to show off just how amazing your boyfriend is!!!!!!!!!!!
But then again, it is another excuse to celebrate and plan a party!

So why not have a tea party?

Mix and match and be sure to go all out with the pink theme, after all it is a silly girly holiday, right?

Like what you see?

A horrible holiday, yes. But it really does make for such a pretty get together!

If you want to be loved, be lovable. Ovid

This Valentines day falls on a Sunday; how much romantic and indulgent can you get?? I helped Kelly with her most recent Valentine's Day post and we came to the conclusion of a few things. Most people either dread the holiday or absolutely love it. There isn't really a big middle group.  Kelly and I came up with different ideas to help others think outside the box for this kissykissy holiday. Skip dinner, make brunch! Don't have a significant other? Make a coffee date with a friend to catch up. Take a weekend trip. The possibilities to relax and enjoy the day are endless! Whether you're going to coffee with a friend, taking that weekend trip, or are being treated to a fancy dinner.. you'll need an outfit!

I put together a group of dresses to inspire you. Elegant, chic, dazzling, casual, you name the type and it's probably somewhere above. Use the day to feel great. All of the dresses above are under $100, proving you don't have to waste away every penny to invest in a beautiful dress. Remember that simple  dress you've had in your closet for years? Put it to use! Spend your money on a necklace you could wear any day of the week (to get the most for money) to spice up your old outfit. I added necklaces to dresses that were simple to change up the look. Mix and match what you have to create the look you can't spend hundreds on!
